Nate is not on Conors level , so no need for him to be so jealous.

is he serious about Bruce Lee?
He's not wrong. Bruce Lee literally would not have lost like that. On the other hand, the take away is that Nate is one of the few fighters who's in a position to speak his mind without putting his next paycheck in jeopardy.

I think he's aware of the money aspect of it and anyone managing him should be advising him of such a fact, but I don't think they'll ever be cool with each other.......it would not be as much fun

yeah i mean just deep down somewhere in that brain of his, he has to acknowledge the fact that mcgregor is making him a millionaire and whether he makes it public or not im sure hes thankful.

will literally never have to work again after he retires. if he never fought mcgregor, he'd probably have to work unless his weed business and bjj coaching is good enough for him. but neither r comparable to what mcgregor fights brought in $$ wise

It's the crabs in a bucket culture yes.
The IG post is criticising Conors performance and the over promoting of the event (in his opinion) I'd agree with the crabs in the bucket thing if he was saying Conor should get paid less, maybe there's other quotes tht say this.

Either way it seems when one fighter comments on another the knee jerk reaction from so many is "jealous..." especially when it's aimed at Conor. Diaz bros haven't changed much since the begining, they've been pretty consistant with the whole "fuck the establishment/theatrics" all along. I see this as Nate working on the trilogy which is probably the best thing financially for both of them and not trying to hold Conor down.

I just don't agree with the logic of an event being over promoted. We always bitch and moan that fights aren't promoted enough, I think eveyr big fight should have been promoted like the MAY/Conor fight if of course, budget would allow.

I get that Nate is promoting himself and the possible fight with McGregor. But he sure would not complain about his potential upcoming fight with McGregor being overpromoted. So therefore, crabs. bucket.

The Diaz' are real, I get it, but they are not excempt from saying stupid shit. Talking about overpromotion, and when did they last fight?

I can see it. When the hype machine was gaining momentum Iwas eating it up. Once we got to the second big presser I was over it, I literally avoided majority of thread as best as possible so I wouldn't get annoyed at having the fight in my face at every turn. That's just me though.

I can't comment here really until it happens which I doubt. No fight on the horizon will get the same treatment MayMAc got.

Of course, these guys are far from exempt lol. It's the odd gold nugget we get in the stoned hazed interviews that sometimes get traction and makes me think "these guys aren't as dense as many think". Nate will forever be tied to Conor now, it's just tiring to hear how he's envious or jealous somehow whenever he pipes up. Diaz Bros are the last guys wanting to be in McGs shoes I'd say. They'd take the bank account of course but those guys don't seem the type to want to travel around and put on a dog and pony show and hav eto answer a million questions from strangers all day.

How would Bruce Lee have lost?
