You're planning on taking more fights in Canada yes? Obviously I'm biased but I'd be more than happy to put you in contact with Dave at Toshidos and he might be able to point you in the right direction for success in Canada, his record is proven. I'm not sure if he takes care of all the management himself but
@Sarah "Cheesecake" Moras would know. At the very least if he saw your fights on tape and liked it he could recommend good people to get you going.

PM me everything you have that you'd use as a resume please and I'll get on it asap. I'm not sure what all you include so whatever I get is what hell get. Also include your background as a Canadian wanting to come back to Canada, wouldn't hurt to go to Toshidos webpage and read up first so you mention some good reasons why you want him to help. Lastly if somehow you come back up here we can discuss a potential renter/landlord thing as I have about 1000 sq ft suite I rent out 6 months at a time. If all goes well I'd be happy to ask whoever to move along to help you get in and setup. I'm about 35 minutes from Toshidos and like 1 minute from Pacific Top Team BJJ.
You're making me tear up man <3 I'll get on I asap. If all goes well I'd like to move up in about a year so I can get my brown belt and a few fights before I go hard at toshidos and make a run at the big show. I'm on my way to train now and I'll PM you everything as soon as I'm done

This is the location in Kelowna, there's another super close to me in West Kelowna that's not as big but the guy there seemed very out going when I popped in once.

Dave is awesome. I've been in classes and he's describe a situation just like yours. Hes informed us of an aspiring fighter moving to town from wherever and if anybody knew of a place to stay to help or if anybody wanted to take privates he send them their way to help make ends meet. If you come up I'll knock rent way down for in exchange for BJJ time for me and my two kids and that's a promise.

pacific top team used to be a gracie barra but switched when gracie barra vancouver had some loyd irvin type of situation going on.
toshido is one of the top teams in canada.david is a great teacher and great person.this sounds like a great opportunity . kelowna also has a great boxing club Madkatz Boxing Club - Whatz Up and a calson gracie affiliated bjj school Learn Jiu Jitsu, Muay-Thai Kickboxing and MMA at Kelowna Martial Arts School First Strike Brazilian Jiu-JItsu Academy Kelowna

@BirdWatcher and I have been doing a lot of work together and this seems like it's going in a great direction! Regardless of anything that happens it'll be a year before I make it to Toshido (if everything works out with Dave and such). Hopefully I can have about 3 fights before next may and prove my worth. Then it'll be all about finding a job for special k and getting up there!
