did you want to try using a different browser like firefox?

seems like it just might be a google chrome browser issue.

so when you used firefox at that site you got the same error?

if you have another computer like a PC maybe try it on that too might be a Chromebook issue too.

gotchyea.

i just checked the google forums for you and it seems that the chromebook can't install 3rd party browsers

Google Groups

So i guess your only hope is trying to view that page on another computer like a PC with windows or if someone else has a suggestion.

ThatOneDude @ThatOneDude have you ever come across something like this?
No that's a weird as shot error. I'm headed into work now, I'll do some research.

Come to think of it the only time I see DH failures is on my firewall in regards to site to site tunnels.

It's basically saying the connection is encrypted, but the server is using an outdated and/or exploitable algorithm. I'd call the school and report the error to their server administrator. They need to reconfigure their encryption to use a stronger key in order to prevent the end user from seeing this error message.

Good on Google for blocking the connection. I know it's a pain in the ass to come across this, but it really says a lot about the extent they're willing to go to protect the integrity of encrypted web traffic.

As lookoutawhale @lookoutawhale suggested, you might be able to work around this error by hopping on another computer (or maybe even your smartphone) and viewing on a different browser.

OK this makes sense. It's an error on your schools end. They need to correct their server in regards to the ssl certificate
