I didn't have an issue with that, but think about it. They go on the lamb. That pancake place was far enough away that they had to overnight at some point. She walks out of the restaurant, drops a dime on the brother at which point the hitman covers at least 8 hours of highway before the brother walks outside realizing he'd been ditched. Everything they write is just sloppily thrown together.
Good point. I didn’t even put two and two together there.

Even if we assume "He was tipped off ahead of time which is why he knew to go to the restauarant." Still doesn't explain how she got half way home before Ben figured out he'd been ditched. It's just lazy, and that's been the story of the whole show from season 1. I also like how Marty deals with the one cartel who when they think he's fucked them over bring him in to chat rather than just murdering him.

When her and Ben were on the run, she realized he had to die at Amy's market when Ben called Helen. I doubt they were 8 hrs away wen she called the cartel. I think after he called Helen, she drove him back towards his death. She knew he could not be fixed and needed to die

Or at the convenience store when he bought a phone again after calling Helen. They were not still running away at that point. She was bringing him back to die. She knew he had bought the phone.....didn't mention it and handed him a candy bar. She was bringing him to the hit man

I dont think they ever went that far. She knew he had to die and was spending some time w him. It was Ben dies or the whole family dies. She didn't have a plan or destination. She was spending her last time w him. And he kept being a fucking idiot and made her decision easier. There was no way she could let him out on his own anywhere and she couldn't bring him back. And she couldn't stay gone w him.

So your explanation is that she was driving back to Ozark and Ben just didn't notice at all?

Yeah I'm sure the guy who yelled at a cartel lawyers daughter, then called helen on a burn phone and went to casino to see Ruth couldn't be tricked on some back road. And his sister who fooled the cops and cartel couldn't trick some retard who just rolled out of an asylum. U right.

All she would have to say is "hey let's go talk to Helen and make this right" or "I'm gona take you to see Ruth" or any one of a million things. The guy was a tard and she was obviously driving him to his death after she caught him w the burn phone. Soooo apology accepted

annnnnnd she did none of them.
Just because they didn't show it doesn't mean she didn't do it. I just assumed she did. Because when she caught him w the second burner, she decided he was for sure dead. So I doubt they drove farther away. That would make no sense

Okay, so when your viewers have to assume things, that means your writing is dogshit.

that is actually true
I was trying to be kind
Mexican Drug Cartel: "We caught this accounting firm stealing from us." BLAUKS! *kills first accountant and goes to shoot second accountant*
Second Accountant: I didn't know. Promise!
Mexican Drug Cartel: I believe him, we should move him away and set him up to do a larger volume of business for us.

I think I watched season 2...not sure

I prefer to watch my old DVDs over that garbagio

watching first blood right now haha
I only liked this for the First Blood part.

I honestly like this series so far. I’m probably too stupid to understand what good writing is. I’ve been thoroughly entertained so far. Ruth has become the series favorite and I’m looking forward to the bumpkin vs. The Byrdes season 4. I’m glad that Marty’s daughter isn’t the smarmy cunt she was in the earlier seasons. Good show.

I know the feeling, because I hate most mainstream movies and tv shows myself. I tend to like stuff like Better Call Saul, the Outsider and Walker Texas Ranger. It’s either heavy plot lines or total absurdity, no real In between.

Jonah is gonna be real pain in the ass this next season. I wanted to like the kid but I think I’m gonna want to cave his head in with a 2x4 by the end of season 4. Granted he has plenty of resin to be pissed, everyone in his crew has died.

I will give you that the deer hunting scene was fucking stupid. Most hunting scenes are in films and tv shows.
