It seems that smoking a bit-o-the-green helps to focus one's energy on stretching as well as spinal alignment and general relaxation. Good luck with your program. I like that it seems sensible, not a blitzkreig type of program that's hard to maintain.

Found out that my PT is moving to a new gym, so only 1 more week with her. She was a lot of fun and helped me a HEAP in these last few months.

Contemplating doing it on my own for a while, just to see if I can keep up the form, gains and dedication.

How are you getting on, mate? Are you stronger, fitter etc? Noticed any change in your body composition?

Heaps stronger, with more endurance.
Body fat has dropped - now sub 20% again.
Measurements are tracking well, smaller waist bigger chest/arms.
Body weight has increased slightly.

Great work, man! Sounds like it was all worth it. Nice to hear you've had results out of it.

Choose your PT wisely.
Substitute for my final 4 sessions after canceling is not one I plan to continue with.
Different is good, but not when it doesn't fit with your needs.

Props to you coming back from injury...sets you above the norm
sometimes I feel I am wasting a rather excellent DNA base for a body

I used to rip 25 pull-ups and now after my gut surgery I only push myself to 12 max...I know I could surpass my earlier max

Go get em bro...you can do whatever you want

Last 4 sessions were totally different.
Isolation, male PT, turned out ok actually.

Back & core - ouch.
Legs - smoked AF.
Shoulders - ok.
Chest - will tell you tomorrow.

So the initial 8 sessions have turned into a year.

The substitute PT's all left my local gym, and now I travel to see the original one that I started this thread about.
This woman is fantastic. No bullshit, no ego.

Cut down to one session a week now, and using her for program development.
On to the 6th program that she has set for me.

Strength gains, body fat composition changed.
I'm leagues ahead of where I was 12 months ago.

Very happy.

I am amazed with the usage of the word "heap", that is an Aussie thing or a NZ thing? Did you steal it from one another? (Not to stir anything up or anything).

It’s a legitimate unit of measure.

And 8 sessions turned into a wonderful 2 years.

Just pulled the pin because travel became a pain in the ass, and work is too busy.

A good PT is amazing.
Sad to let this one go.

Always go back to a good thing.
I’ve moved countries, haven’t trained with her in 2 years.

Online/virtual training begins again with her today.
Just for something to do in this current lockdown, and to give me a bit more focus.

Home gym set up is pretty mint, so it should be easy.

Ever try hanging upside down? How about gripping a chin up bar and just letting your shoulder girdle loosen up and spine decompress.

One of my favorite things during a workout is to hang from the chin up bar - it feels amazing.

My warm up always starts with spine mobility movements too.

I’m 43 now so need to be a bit more mindful. Got an X-ray coming on left shoulder today too.

Apart from that, everything is going smoothly.
