I just accidentally stumbled upon some cringe worthy stuff on Glory's website which happened to have some accurate input about the Sitmonchai Gym from Thailand - which in turn reminded me of some epic fights, exactly what Mishima Zaibatsu @AcidRain was looking for in muay thai and I didn't recall at the time I was asked (you might've watched it already but it's never a bad time to see this again)

Good fight, like both guys.

Guy in blue has a weird kick, but his knees and teeps are great.

Good job from the ref there aswell. Can tell he takes his job of protecting the fighters seriously.
Yeah muay thai referees are the best. This one's fall was particularly epic but it's not uncommon for them to jump underneath a falling KOed fighter to save them.

I can only assume they're military because the stadiums are owned by the army and these old guys command so much respect from the fighters.

Mia Kang has been talking about Muay Thai in mainstream media interviews lately: Meet the Sports Illustrated model who’s also training as a fighter

She a SI Swimsuit model who has been training in Thailand for the past year or so. If her social media updates are any indication, she's pretty serious about it. Not sure if she will ever compete, but it's kind of wild to see this almost 6ft tall beauty exchanging kicks with a bunch of hardcore fighters.

I started following her awhile ago because she's a big fan of Michelle. Oh, and she's crazy hot.

Pet-U-Thong wins Sport's Writers of Thailand Fighter Of The Year Award

Raja Stadium Super-featherweight champion Pet-U-Thong has won muay thai's most prestigious award announced yesterday as he claimed the Sport's Writers of Thailand Fighter of the Year Award in a surprising upset of Puenkon Tor Surath by 11-4 voting. Puenkon won two previous awards and added a couple of high profile wins afterwards, but nothing could match Pet-U-Thong momentum after scoring two of the sport's most brutal KOs in recent times in back-to-back fashion, including a stunning 1st round KO of reigning 3-time Sport's Writers Award winner Panpayak Jitmuangnon.

Pet-U-Thong Or Kwanmaung: The sports writers fighter of the year for 2016

There are a plethora of annual awards for the elite MuayThai circuit in Bangkok, but none of them garner the same excitement than that of the Sports writers accolade which is the most prestigious individual honor for any MuayThai fighter in the Kingdom of Thailand, well outside of winning a stadium title of course. (...)

The calendar for the sports writers award runs from April to March each year.
The six fights that Pet-U-Thong fought that were eligible in the decision making were his battles with the following fighters in 2016/2017:

Saen Parunchai — 29.04.2016
Bangplenoi 96 Peenung — 18.07.2016
Kaewkangwan Piwwayo — 29.09.2016
Superlek Kiatmoo9 — 22.12.2016
Kaimookao Por Thairungruangkamai — 02.02.2017
Panpayak Jitmuangnon — 02.03.2017
