I hate to say it but blowing Super Bowl the way they did often leads to serious issues for team chemistry and the team's future.
I could see SF suffering a long Falcon like post super bowl hangover.
Of course injuries have fucked them royally but the super bowl choke letdown is a very real thing.
Jimmy has no excuse for these throws...just horrible.
I think he's trying to play through his ankle sprain but he's not all there yet. He's making bad decisions but beyond that his passes just don't look good. Like his balance is off.
But the injuries have decimated the defense and that's what really kept them in games last year and gave them that spark to take control. Losing the entire secondary would be bad enough but also losing Bosa, Ford, and Thomas up front is brutal. Now there's no pressure on the QB and weak coverage in the secondary.
