the Rodgers apologists drive me nuts. He always gets a pass. The one consistent part of his failures are that he's Aaron Rodgers. I don't care if he has great arm talent, that doesn't make him a winner.

It wasn't Saleh's fault that Rodgers got hurt 4 plays into last season either. However, it WAS his fault he didn't have a backup plan to an aging QB who likes to get high in the desert that was better than Zach WIlson.
I'm not an apologist, but I don't think he is nearly as bad as you do.
We also have different opinions on other QBs, which is fine.
I blame all Qb decisions on the QB himself, that is how it works.
I'm merely pointing out that Saleh got Saleh fired. He has only had AR as a QB for 5 games, so only 3 of his HC losses are on AR.
I think we'll find out eventually that there was a lockerroom power play spear headed by Rodgers. I don't bet, but if I did, I'd put money on it.

The fact that they didn't tell the players and immediately escorted him out of the building without allowing him to address the team, reinforces it imo
If so then we have to watch it play out. Jets could go on a run after this split, or they could eat a bag of dicks.
Rodgers barely needs an OC and doesn't really have a good one.
Maybe the new coach brings life into the team and maybe not.
I will say it is pretty humiliating to get fired after week 5 haha, gotta be close to a record. Although this does seem to be brewing, people gave Saleh another season after he already looked fairly lost making game decisions in many games.
Devante Adams seems like a cancerous player though, will be interesting to see if they make that trade. I think Raiders coach won't make it thru the year.
Rodgers has mostly played like shit though. Saleh had been dealt nothing but lousy qb play, I don't think anybody could succeed on the jets of the last few years.
Saleh isn't the GM though. That's who needs to be held accountable. Didn't think Saleh has a lot of say when it comes to personnel.
