Am I seeing this right? Is Nick Sirianni attempting to blame Hurts for attempting a wide open pass when he thinks he should have taken a Sack? Seems like Sirianni is blaming Hurts without realizing the RB (who was fucking Saquon) was open and thus didnt trigger the mechanism.

I think he lost his shit a few times in that game, and by shit I mean his mind.
I guess if at the time you deemed a Sack as a reasonable outcome for your teams success than why not run the fucking ball and not risk the clock stopping than kick the FG. I mean 13yo madden players understand this level of clock management.

There are coordinators with more Super Bowl wins than Buddy Ryan, but that‘s not why he should be in the HOF.
He designed and crafted perhaps the greatest defense in NFL history and was way ahead of his time with the 46 defense. You couldn’t run it now, but it was pretty innovative back in the 80’s.
He ran that side of the ball without any influence from the head coach and is more responsible for that 85’ title than Ditka ever was.
