The reserve release (strategically done right before a holiday) was a fart in the wind. The market will recover from the sell off from the low volume day that occured Friday, which was likely more due to the new African variant than anything done at DC - unless you want to include the travel ban.
WTI is up 4% today.
Brent is up 3%.
Reserves are his only play, and it's one of weakness with no real impact.
