Charles could give Ilia problems with this kicks, clinch and improved tds but ultimately Ilia isn’t the guy you want touching Charles’ lack of head movement. Ilia won’t have any problems following Charles to the ground to finish if he drops him too (although it’s a myth that everyone is scarred to - both Chandler and Poirier followed him to the ground).
Charles is still one of the most dangerous offensive fighters however though he failed to finish Chandler of all folks who just got finished by Paddy.

Also the LW title shots have been weird lately too. Gaethje KO’ed Dustin but took the fight with Max. Charles lost to Arman, Arman is being punished and not getting the shot. Charles only beat a dwindling Chandler by decision.
Arman should be next and don’t wanna see Charles KTFO but would rather him be the guy to humble the guy changing his nickname himself multiple times like a poser.
