Yes, he used to have that mentality. Not so much these days since he learned how to leverage his notoriety to get maximum paydays and doesn't seem to have anything to prove anymore. . Back then, he had quite the chip on his shoulder. He's always said exactly what he was thinking though!

I think he still has that mentality. I just think he finally understand his value, didn't want to fight for peanuts anymore, and wants to get compensated fairly for moving the needle.
