For the time he was smooth.
"Chinks can jump real high huh?!"
He sure was a great exhibitionist.
80’s - 90’s I read all his books watched all his movies would put his fight scenes in slow motion or pause and slowly move forward watching all his set ups and moves ...
He was legit and was far far ahead of his time with overall mentality for Mixed Martial arts and he took his training to another level ...only in the past decade have we saw MMA fighters really adopt the cross training movement aspect of training.
Bruce Lee was the man!
The Tao of Jeet Kune Do is the best Martial Arts book I own. Helped me tremendously, especially as a beginner.
(Second best book is a scientific book about Kickboxing, but it's in German)
Calling Gene LeBell a wimp seems highly misguided.
Yeah, that was the one point he made that made me think “well, leave him out”
Dai Sifu Lee.
The Lord of Combat.
The progenitor of MMA.
