Now, Nurmagomedov, who moved to No. 1 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA lightweight rankings, has opened at the sports books as the favorite over two of his possible next opponents: No. 3-ranked McGregor (21-3 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and No. 2 Ferguson (23-3 MMA, 13-1 UFC).

That’s according to noted MMA oddsmaker Joey Oddessa, who’s told MMAjunkie he’s set “The Oddessa Line” as follows:

Khabib Nurmagomedov -165 (1.61)
Conor McGregor +135 (2.35)

Khabib Nurmagomedov -200 (1.5)
Tony Ferguson +165 (2.65)

I would like to think conor catches him clean and KOs him while walking backwards. His footworks should be greatly better then khabib but the partying and reckless behavior makes me wonder if hes as dedicated and hungry as when he kod alvarez and aldo. If khabib ever tried to walk down conor in striking exchanges he would get nailed.

Tony its a fun fight and still a pickem to me. I think he could survive early against khabib and and start putting in work in rds 3-5. I would like to see if he stayed in the center and tried to work the body and tie him up when grappling. Who knows though khabib just had a off night against iaquinta probably due to the multiple opponent switches

I did that once...that is why I made the post LOL

Jumped on an insane line(at least in theory) and didn't read fine print....had to wait 11 months for money on a fight that never ended up happening

even if they lost the bet to me they would have probably made 30% of their money back on interest and some crafty money manipulation...lesson learned

I remember people betting on Cyborg Ronda after at least 3 ronda wins and bragging how it was easy money or something...that was no risk all win for house.

Years ago on boxing forums I couldn't tell you how many pissed off Floyd/Manny bettors there where when the fight hit a snag & sportsbooks got a year long interest free loan.

The great part is the Conor nuthuggers will put so much money on Conor that I will get to win a lot of money on Khabib straight up and in parlays.
