Tito Ortiz has been retired and unretired. He's had surgery after surgery, including another neck fusion last year. The 41-year-old is currently rehabbing from that operation, but yes. "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" will be back in 2016, his 19th year in pro mixed martial arts.

"I'm a machine, man," Ortiz told MMA Fighting in a recent interview. "I'll be good. I'll be good in about a month. I'll fight this year, 100 percent."

"I won't take Fedor my first fight," Ortiz said. "I'm coming off an injury, you know. I want a warm-up first. Let's do a warm-up first and let's make it a big warm-up, so that everybody wants to watch it."

Emelianenko came out of retirement after three years to defeat Jaideep Singh in the main event of the inaugural Rizin Fighting Federation card on New Year's Eve.

If not him, then who would Ortiz like next? How about Kimbo Slice?

"That's a pretty damn good name," Ortiz said with a laugh.

This is actually a great two fight ender for Tito's career..... Go beat up Kimbo, get fans to praise you, enjoy a little limelight... Then talk up a big challenge, go challenge Fedor, talk about how you will wrestle him down, and your cardio will wear him out.... Then REALLY treat the fans by getting KOed.... And call it a career, and go down as an all time great pioneer of that night ;-)

For Fedor it makes sense to fight Tito in his next fight. He has claimed that he wants two tune-up fights first, so Tito Ortiz would be great for that, since Tito is also at the end of his career and coming off a loss - even if it is a loss to a great fighter like McGeary.

But for Fedor's 3rd or 4th fight, I don't think it makes much sense. I would expect more someone like Wanderlei, Overeem (if he doesn't re-sign with ufc), Bigfoot, McGeary, Phil Davis, King Mo or Rampage for his 3rd or 4th fight.

Kimbos way too tough of a matchup for Fedor. We all saw what he did to a legend like Shamrock. Just imagine what he would do to Fedor.

The Tito fight makes sense as he's well past his prime.

The Wand fight would be fun. Both of their chins are shot so someone's getting KO'D for sure.

Tito's only 41. Why is everyone mentioning retirement? He has at least 9-10 more years of fights with Bellator. They love pulling guys out of the old folks homes for fights.

Really? I think Fedor would massacre Tito...I see Fedor shutting down Tito's ground game and putting his lights out, bad.

I think at this point in Titos career, Kimbo could give him a fight. I could see it going either way.
I agree. As slow as Tito has looked lately, Kimbo would have a good chance at clubbing that melon. And at 41, I'm not sure how much "Punishment" Tito can take.....

See what I did there?.... Yea, you know you see it.....;)
