I admit that i was intrigued by the MayMac fight. because of how weird it was. But if this becomes a regular thing, then can we please call Conor a boxer and stop posting about it??

Manny would wear his ass out and I'd watch. Pay for it? Nah...but I'd certainly watch.

Mayweather, after the fourth round of his fight with McGregor, posing for a photo that would later be used to advertise the brand of mouthguards he's wearing.

He doesn't have a mouth guard

Hopefully the UFC doesn't let this happen. Either that or strip Conor and let the LW division move on without him. It's time to bring some integrity back to the division and stop letting Conor have his way on everything. It's hard to take the UFC seriously any more after the crap they have let one guy get away with.

Dead on.

Unfortunately, Conor has so many trump cards, he's basically untouchable. I don't blame him at all at what he is doing. This is the hurt business, make as much money as possible, and get out.

UFC needs to grab onto their balls with two hands and steer this entertainment business into an actual sport where it's fair

Afraid it's going to be a while before that happens. They need those loans paid off. And by the time they get them paid off, this model they've adopted may be at the point of no return.

Fingere crossed they don't kill the sport. It's still relatively a new sport for the mainstream, and this is one of the most important times to get it going in the correct direction. The numbers must be huge when they do shit in an unfair way, and is tempting to continue going on that path, but being the long term strategy, doesn't seem like the best method at all.

I wish they would think outside of the box a bit. Tournaments would be something that would get people excited again. They certainly have enough fighters in each division, and enough events to pull it off.

Imagine this LW tournament for example..

1 Ferguson vs 8 Poirier

3 Barboza vs 6 Diaz

4 Alvarez vs 5 Gaethje

2 Khabib vs 7 Lee

Set it up where each fighter gets $250k every time they show and the winner takes home $1 million + gets an additional $1 million to fight McGregor. Think any of the names above (besides maybe Nate) wouldn't sign up for that?
