House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband was reportedly violently assaulted in the couple's San Francisco home early Friday morning. A statement from the Speaker's office states that an assailant broke into the home.

Pelosi was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recovery without incident. The person who broke into the home is in custody, said the Speaker's spokesperson Drew Hammill.

He's 82 and is reportedly fine. If someone wanted to permanently fuck him up, he'd be fucked up - permanently.
