I've always wanted to see Hugo strange as a villain he would have fit perfect in the Nolan movies. Strange could have teamed up with bane and the league in dark knight rises and did more of an arkham city story.

Also there was an
episode in the animated series called trial. Where Batman was put on trial for creating his villains, joker was the judge, two face the prosecution. It was always one of my favorites and it's a good excuses to go into flashbacks and get history of Batman against various foes.

For comic adaptation I would love long Halloween or Morrison's arkham asylum

Zsasz is another real world character that would have fit the tone of Nolan's Batman.

I liked the "Almost Got'im" episode from the animated series for a similar reasons, villains hanging out and playing poker trying to one up each other with their story. But yeah Batman on trial would be cool. The animated series is damn near perfect imo.

Zsasz was actually in Batman begins in the court and at the end in the narrows but he wasn't really used great. He would have fit perfect. Almost got him, is another great episode. Tas really is a great depiction of Batman and the best cartoon ever made

The animated series could've been a good template for Nolan. It was a dark cartoon with lots of good episodes. IMO I loved when Batman forever came out. The new batsuit was cool, the character was almost Spider-Man like in his verbal fighting skills.

Manbat. A man with a strange superpower. He can levitate at will and utilise some kind of gravitational phenomenon to effectively wield himself like a bat. Christian Slater as the lead due to his naturally wooden acting talent.

I was thinking about this the other day. One of my favorite actual Batman novels is "No Man's Land". It takes place after Gotham has been leveled by a major earthquake and the United States declares "the island" a "no man's land" with no support from the government. Gangs/lawlessness running rampant and Batman having his work cut out for him. Great storyline for a potential movie. The scene in Batman v. Superman where Wayne is dreaming about a post-apocalyptic scenario, with him monitoring a devastated city through binoculars reminded me of this novel. I recommend this book to any Batman fan.

The one where batman tells robin to swoop into the burning building while he lurks in the shadows and robin screams 'LEROYYYY JENKINNNNSSS' and storms headfirst into an ambush. Later batman asks him 'was that a good idea?' while Robin nurses his wounds!

Which one was that?!

I don't know which one that is actually. Huntress, NightWing, and a crippled Batgirl/Barbara Gordon are in the "No Man's Land" novel. Mind you, it isn't a comic book, but an actual novel.

No man's land is great both the novel and the comic book arc, there are differences but it's mostly the same story.

They sorta used parts of it in dkr
