Legit question. Do they count the notch in that 6.3". How much of the screen is actually usable?

It just seems funny how they advertise the screen size down to the decimal but really the notch makes part of it unviewable for media.
Think of the area around the notch as bonus space. The display is extended longer than a normal ratio. When watching 16:9 video that area will be black. In a notchless phone you just have a blank bezel instead.

I do. It's an evolution on the pixel 2. Basically better in everyway a little bit.
The camera is incredible. That's the biggest sell to me.
I despise the notch but others don't care. I hide mine with an app.

@Splinty said, it's basically the Pixel 2 XL but better in every way. The screen is the biggest improvement for me. Much better color rendering and responsiveness in pixels transitioning from off to on. The notch doesn't bother me because those extra pixels are in an area that was just bezel on the previous model. I'd probably prefer to lose the front camera and have a normal 18:9 ratio full screen, but you wouldn't really gain anything against the notched 18.5:9 ratio except the aesthetics and having a slightly shorter phone.

No one concerned about tracking and collection of data? Fuck Google products and services. You won't see me even using Chrome or Google maps. There have been extensive studies on this, amd I can't say it's good.
Good idea. The thought of someone knowing I've been looking for used tin foil hats and SARS masks than can block chemtrails is alarming. Guess I won't be getting one.of these hunk of dung phones after all.
