I was in a similar one - it was in NYC that had really quiet apartments over a closed factory of some sort - we were in the penthouse which is awesome for Manhattan, but it was ten floors up - the elevator was a bit bigger but very rickety and very hot - the choice was use that thing or walk ten flights - we walked most times - there didn’t seem to be reliable safety equipment and a breakdown could be a death sentence before help could come - fuck that
