I guess it's a done deal. Dana is an ass, promises one thing and does the other. Nothing new. But if it was up to you, who would you want GSP to fight for his comeback to the UFC?

Anderson.
It would still do very well, doesn't muck up anything.

Andy as it fucks up neither division if he wins or loses.
I was going to vote Silva but went with Woodley because he has no real #1 contender at the moment
Would be happy with either fight

If it's bisping which it is, I really don't care about the fight, happy bisping will get a good pay day though

Best option would have been Dana
Would love to see gsp grind him into the ground

No one wanted this fight, people were actually happy when Dana said it wasn't happening. But he's such a child he's now making the fight anyway, just to spite Woodley.

Stupid multimillionaire clown.

Not even debatable, but I'll allow a bunch of agrees to this......

How about dan Kelly so Kelly can beat his ass down?

Good first fight to welcome him back....gets dan some Ppv points and let's us see where grid supply points sits in regard to the real contenders at bispings weight

Voted other at first but changed to Silva - bc I remembered that Silva was promised GSP at some point and got screwed over.

But I really like the Kelly idea.

I voted Silva cuz of money fight but changed to Woodley cuz seems like GSP wants a legit competition, then it's Woodley all day.

This shows how asshole Dana is. The fans don't even care for GSP vs Bisping but he made it. Dana's ego is out of control, I think his brain disease is getting to him.

Time to step down

I want him to stay retired. Just one, ONE of the good guys please get out with some marbles. He already had some issues.

Voted Bisping, will be happy just to see him return. Let's be honest he's spent his whole career making a living in WE fighting for and defending the title.

Let him have his bloody cake, if anyone's earned his pick of fights it's GSP. I'll pay for that fight in a second.

Comparison of GDP and Woodleys first 3 title defences

Take Bisping.
Whittaker is out anyway.

Winner v Whittaker at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne will be a monster event. Outdoor at the end of an Aussie summer.

Not bisping.. he doesn't deserve a MW shot when he was too pussy to fight Anderson at MW in a superfight. Now he sees a beatable champion and wants to skip the line for a title shot... if I could I'd tell him piss off until you fight a MW contender you're not getting a title shot there.

Woodley or Silva would be my choice, or a contender at MW/WW depending which weight he wants to go

IF GSP really intends to make the trip back to welterweight after he gets mauled by Bisping then I hope he takes a real challenge and not some puff pastry like Tyrone, he needs to face a killer that can't be kept down and won't be intimidated by GSP's mystique. IF Mike Perry destroys a resurgent Thiago Alves then I say give the fight to him and lets see what GSP really has left (in his proper weightclass)

two big IFs though

Woodley would KO gsp.... he's a real wrestler not an mma wrestler who only knows a double leg / inside leg trip

Josh Koscheck was pretty good at that wrestling malarkey too :p
pretty sure he just got jabbed to death... if Woodley fights smart (which we can tell he does since he doesn't give a fuck if hes boring to fans, he does what it takes to win) he'll be able to negate GSPs strengths and play to his own

nah the first fight GSP surprised Koscheck and took him down in rounds 1 and 2, passed multiple times and threatened subs in the second. He was 4 of 9 on TD's in the rematch but no guard passes or sub attempts

all I know is GSP doesn't deserve bisping when he was too scared to go to MW when he was WW champ. now he wants to come out of retirement, and fight for a belt at MW? makes no sense.

he should fight Woodley or at most a contender at MW.

and Woodley vs GSP is a good fight. it could go either way... either GSP is able to take Woodley down and threaten with submissions or he gets KTFO or one of them win a decision. I don't see GSP getting anywhere near KOing Woodley or even outstriking him

I was only kidding when I criticised Woodley, and I then suggested Mike Perry lol thought the joke would be pretty obvious

Huge GSP nuthugger here. Voted for Bisping.
Personally, I wish he'd stay retired. I can't think of anyone else who went out on top like that, and I'd hate to see him come back and lose. That said, I also love the idea of him possibly winning another title.

Obviously it's bad for the MW division, but my inner fanboy couldn't care less...

lol I didn't get it but you weren't wrong when you said gsp needs to face someone who can't be taken and/or kept down ... or it's always going to be an easy decision for him
