After hearing from Cohen what they have envisioned for this film, I don't have high hopes. But who knows.

To be fair, if they had focused only on the excesses (sex drugs rocknroll) would have been cliche but the version suggested by the remaining members sounded lame and pretty much way too feel good/brushed up.
his version of the movie sounds better ,it would look a little silly for a 6'4" - 6'5" sasha baron cohen to dwarf the band . I think Rami malek is a better casting choice because he was freddie mercury size.
Just the fact that Brian May and Queen would make this about themselves, and how they overcame and went on without their lead singer... who cares? People are interested in Freddie Mercury.
I was up for Cohen doing it too, he’s got some decent pipes on him. I liked the idea of Q from the recent Bond movies as well.
Shame I never got to see Queen with Freddie, seeing them with Adam Lambert last year was awesome though, he’s probably the best replacement.
