Questions about the members here......

Is this place mostly made up of members who migrated over from that other site that is referenced with a vowel and a consonant, or are there members here who were never a part of that site? Also, if you are a member who did come over from there did you frequent both grounds, or stay mainly on the mms side? Just curious, because if I am going to consider posting content I want to make sure I am not being redundant, but if there is something I think might be enjoyed I don't want to hold back on the notion that most of you guys have seen it over there in the past. I am still feeling this place out and trying t figure out who's who.

I was a long time member/lurker over there and had grown quite unhappy with the place over the last 4 or 5 years......Once I came here, I pretty much have abandoned that place, don't even lurk there anymore. Bumped a single thread in regards to The Fallen Angel's Q&A here.

Can't speak for anyone else, but if you don't post it here, I won't see it. I do like your posts here, and in the past there!

I am at both places. I don't see myself totally going away from the UG anytime soon, but I think with time, this place will be a more pure mma forum as the members will be quality and will have more traffic.

Ya, I imagine I will always be a regular on the UG/OG as well, and to be honest I don't see myself ever ditching it completely because it has been far too good to me. Yes, it can be overcome with idiots and fuckery, but I myself have probably benefited more than most during my time over there and for that I am loyal. However, this place is a breath of fresh air and I am digging a different vibe altogether. For me it's looking like it will be a nice balance which I will continue to teeter back and forth between.

Also noteworthy, this is the only other form I belong to other than the UG. I've never gone to any of the other forums, and I don't even know what the fuck is out there...........don't want to know. I was hesitant to come here for fear of getting sucked in and wasting more time in which I ought to be more productive, but here I am...........I'm hooked. I appreciate you giving me a heads up bud! It appears this is going to be my more mature playground where I come to play with the big boys and girls!

I had 500 posts in 8 years on Sherdog. I joined the UG a couple of years ago and immediately liked it. It's deteriorated massively in the couple of years I've posted there so God only knows what it's like for people who have been on there for time.

When the UG kept crashing and the reddit was formed I was all over it. I migrated here from there.

I do use the other place a bit but lately I've just been checking / posting on the OG and a post here or there on the UG,

The only problem I have with this site (nothing quality or content related). is that during the daytime here it's the middle of the night in the states (where most of the traffic comes from) so I find myself over there pottering about and avoiding doing an work.

I still lurk over there a few times per week. My work schedule is crazy at the beginning of each month and relaxed at the end of each month. I check in on this site daily, but my visits are often very brief the first two weeks of the month. This place continues to get better and better. Continued growth with quality posters.

I used to be on the UG and when i first got there it was awesome, then it started to suck and one day Cindy O pmd me something about my personal life to which i answered because why wouldnt I, i didnt expect her to do anything crazy and she took personal info i gave her about my job and tried to screw me from working as a PT manager at the UFC gym, and when i confronted her she just wouldnt answer me as to why she asked me what she asked me and then eventually she got fed up with me asking and had me banned. Rickstorm was working with me through PM about the thing and told me he would clear things up for me which he never did and when i got banned he never helped me out. I know people love him and so did I but imo he is a dick rider like the rest...King mo quote lol.

just wait. More plans, more added features. We already have great posters that bring a lot of great content to the forums. we will continue to create ways for people to be engaged in a fun respected community. Iwe I and I are both doing this with two jobs a piece and other obligations.

Used to lurk on other site, posted maybe twice since 2001 or 2002. No interest in getting slammed for giving an opinion. By the way, as proof I was on there many years ago and up until I started posting here, I always typed in the .tv address which navigates to the new address so I'm old school. This place is welcoming and though I will say stupid shi- from time to time, everybody is cool and understanding.
