I wonder what the ratio is for fighters getting tested positive for PED. I haven't heard of many outside the UFC except recently Fitch. I am sure there are others, but im betting the UFC has atleast a 80/20 lead on popped fighters. If you add in all the weed and coke then it bumps up the needle, didnt dana always say the UFC was a needle mover? well it seems so, from one arm to another.

"It's because the UFC is regulated by the Gov't and we take this shit seriously. We are testing the shit out of these guys, and no one else is doing that. You think these other guys want to clean up the sport? Fuck no. Fuck no they don't. They can't afford to lose a guy to a suspension for a year. It would kill their business. We want to clean up the sport and we're willing to lose some guys for a year to do it. These other guys are sleazy man. They're dirty dirty people."

Well the first time Bellator did post fight tests 3 or 4 got popped.

Are the UFC the only ones that are doing OOC testing?

I think that if they were all doing the same testing the UFC would be a bit higher than the rest cause there is more money at stake - but not much more.

I went back and found that article of the Bellator guys, I must have missed that one. I still think that the UFC sorta plays a role in it, especially when their CEO is as big as any of the fighters considering a few years ago he was the size of a number 2 pencil.

Mma has a PEDs problem. The UFC has more to lose than most by not doing something. Its baseball all over again. UFC would do nothing if they didn't have to and I take umbrage with his assertion they want to clean up when no one else does.

As bad as the UFC's testing is, it is better than any other MMA org, as far as I know.

Which is funny because he's now the colour of a number 2.
