Every single tax dollar collected is the result of someone's hard work.
We as a society need to fully digest this and start treating every single tax dollar with a reverence. Each dollar is sacred. Hallowed. Often times, earned through blood and sweat.
Yet these people in charge of handling our money do neither. They do not sweat or bleed for their money and very few of them ever have.
We need to put these people through what the hardworking taxpayer goes through. I want to see calluses, abrasions and lacerations on hands, bad backs, bad knees, etc on these people. Until they've lived through it, they'll never be able to properly appreciate it.
