I'm convinced dead internet bots are the majority of any form of "social" style traffic - social media, youtube comments, reddit, most forums, etc.

The shit I see in my FB feed is crazytown - everything from 100% rage bait to blatantly false stories & posts (about everything from sports to politics to Sydney Sweeney to tv shows to everything in between). All with thousands of interactions and never taken down.

Plus, I'm pretty sure FB actively fucks with you when you try to report shit. Every time I try to report a post as being false, FB acts like I tried to just "hide it from my feed". I have to then unhide it and try to report it again for the actual report to go through.

Elon pledged to solve the bot problem on Twitter but it seems like he didn't even try. You make a comment on any post and get flooded with fake likes and fake follows.

/r/politics was eerie on the morning of November 5th. All the bots and shills were put on stand by. All the useful idiots were still passed out from their half-assed attempted suicides with pills and booze. There were actually some normal conversations going on. People on both sides of the fence, but not being complete cunts to one another. It almost resembled reality.
