A lot of people clown Rener for how goofy he can be (hell I do at times), but credit where credit is due.... This is a great idea. Good for him.

The concept is interesting, but I couldn't see it being practical, at least not for me. If I need a hoodie, I want to be able to put it on or take it off as needed. I totally lose that flexibility if I have to empty gear out of it all the time. Conversely, if I have stuff that requires a backpack, that backpack can't cease to exist when I get chilly.

That’s actually very true....

No point in turning a hoodie into a backpack if you have nothing to put in it. And It would be rather annoying turning a backpack into a hoodie if you have to Hold everything in your hands .


Was thinking of getting it until I read your post

I like it. Next time I get into a fight in a parking lot, I’ll slowly back away, take my hoodie off, turn it into a back pack, take off my shirt, pants, and shoes, stuff them in the backpack, and fight the guy completely unencumbered. Naked except for my backpack.

It's clever, but only to avoid having to carry your hoodie. The backpack is more a gimmick than functional, but that may be enough to get a few watermelon juicers to throw down cash.

This is like an old trick to tie the hoodie up or hide some weed quick.. all he really did in the design was tie the rope to the bottom of the jacket, original fold is better cos the strap is the arms of the hoodie.
