Today the world lost one of the greatest pitchers to ever step on a mound. RIP Doc.

Ex-MLB star Halladay dies in plane crash
Because he played on terrible Blue Jays teams his body of work doesn't really get the respect it deserves. I once watched him throw a 9 inning 4-1 victory in (I believe) under 2 hours. We didn't even have time to get drunk. That sucks.
That dude could pitch. I still remember his no hitter against the Reds in the NLDS back in 2010.
40 years old is way too young to leave this world.
He'll end up in the HOF. No doubt.Because he played on terrible Blue Jays teams his body of work doesn't really get the respect it deserves. I once watched him throw a 9 inning 4-1 victory in (I believe) under 2 hours. We didn't even have time to get drunk.
Granted Lidle played for a lot of teams, he was also a Blue Jays pitcher.damn, great pitcher. odd but my first thought was about Cory Lidle dying a decade or so ago when his plane crashed
I think Halladay runs away with it. He was putting up great stats on absolute trash teams.Probably the Jays best pitcher ever. Stieb and Ward are up there as well.
Canada loved Halladay.
RIP
