The full lineup for ROAD FC 46 is out, with 13 fights set to take place on 10 March at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul.
The previously announced title bout between openweight champion Mighty Mo and challenger Myung Hyun-Man will top the card, alongside the semifinals for ROAD’s $1 Million Lightweight Tournament.
New bouts added to the 13-fight card include a bantamweight scrap between China’s Alatengheili (10-7) and Team Posse standout Jang Ik-Hwan (6-1). Alatengheili was last seen at ROAD FC 37 and suffered a huge knockout at the heavy hands of Japanese standout Asakura Kai in just 29 seconds. Now, fully recovered, he returns to face surging Jang who is now riding a five-fight win streak.
Also announced is China beast Ma Anding (14-2), who is booked to face Japan’s Hamada Junpei (10-18-1) in an openweight bout, while featherweights Park Hae-Jin (5-1) and Cho Byeong-Oak (4-3) will seek to climb up the division’s rankings.
In a battle of the reality TV stars, three former Crying Fist graduates will take on their counterparts from the new Fearless Guys TV show. In a catchweight match, Taekwondo master Hong Young-Ki (3-4) will face aggressive kickboxer Eom Tae-Woong who makes his debut. Park Hyung-Geun (2-3-1) will welcome another to make his ROAD FC debut, Moon Jin-Hyuk.
While ROAD has added some intriguing bouts to the 10 March card, there’s no denying that all eyes will be firmly fixed on the $1 Million Tournament semifinals.
Red hot tournament favourite Ronys Torres (36-5) is set to face Octagon FS champion Shamil Zavurov (34-5-1), while former DEEP lightweight title challenger and Japan trials winner Shimoishi Kota (21-4) will face former M-1 and BAMMA champion Mansour Barnaoui (16-4).
