My initial reaction was that this made no sense. I mean Robbie Lawler is a former champ and legend, while Perry is more personality than elite fighter. Then upon closer inspection, it actually makes a lot of sense. Lawler has lost his last 4 and his last 5 of 6. Neither are close to contender status, both have big name recognition, both are willing to go to war...it should be fun!

Initially I want to agree with you but Robbie Lawler winning and then defending the belt in 2016 was already well passed when I thought he was a contender. I can't count him out. It's all been too nuts
