Voting as a fan here. I hope Frankie wins it. His experience and take downs could help him secure a decision.

Rodriguez is younger, faster and bigger though. Statistically, its Yair's fight.

Edgar's experience and takedowns do give him a solid chance to win but I think El Pantera might come out and get another finish. The kid is hungry and dangerous. Should be a great fight.

Iron sharpens iron, training with Marlon must bring out the best.
Yair has some attributes though.
I'm just gonna be a fight fan for this one.

I think Edgar has the better chance to get the W but I just get this feeling that Edgar's bound to get KOd in one of his fights eventually and this might be it with a highlight kick of some kind from yair

100% spot on.

It's the law of averages, and Edgar, although he he sick recovery skills, is bound to get knocked out one of these days. Yair gets him.

I think this fight will be one of those fights were one evolved and the other didn't.

For all the hype about Yair, he went to a split decision with Alex Caceres less than a year ago.

This is free money on Frankie, glad enough people are mistaking the UFC's lust for a Mexican star for genuine championship material.

Frankie barely won a decision in his last fight against Stephens. Unfortunately he is on the downhill side of his career and Yair will expose him. All those wars have caught up with Frankie and it will show in this fight.

Plus, in Yair's last fight, he destroyed the guy you think is the GOAT.

Frankie has also done this two different times (First fight I also think Penn won), but Frankie never destroyed Penn the way Mexican Bruce Lee did.

best case for me is aldo/yair. i also want to see the best fighters at that given time fight. if aldo and edgar both win their fights well they are the two best right now for champ no? regardless of whether we have seen it or not.

i mean i do see what you're saying. holloway/yair would be fun as hell but you can still match those two up regardless. they're young and will be around much longer.
