Hey ya and get ya freak on are at least highly unique with a lot of interesting aspects about the songs themselves.

How the hell is crazy right now anything other than another song?

I'm just gonna highlight this one more time. They comically put Crazy in love, not just high, but directly in front of purple rain and Bohemian Rhapsody to highlight the true insanity.
Purple Rain?!?!!!

To create the new version of the RS 500 we convened a poll of more than 250 artists, musicians, and producers — from Angelique Kidjo to Zedd, Sam Smith to Megan Thee Stallion, M. Ward to Bill Ward — as well as figures from the music industry and leading critics and journalists. They each sent in a ranked list of their top 50 songs, and we tabulated the results.

Nearly 4,000 songs received votes.

I agree it's a shit list but I'm not sure what anyone expected from a popularity contest among modern "musicians."

A better metric would be a tabulation of which songs have received the most radio plays.
