As much as I can see Cat winning this, I am going with old tried and true, Ronda by sub.

While I feel Cat is one of if not the toughest opponents Ronda has faced, I feel Ronda's style is a horrible match up for Cat.

I see this fight ending in the first minute, Ronda judo throw into side control, gets the armbar.

Although Ronda's last two fights she's won by strikes.

Ronda. And some of my more misogynistic brethren still scoff at even the idea of her being anywhere near a P4P list.

I rarely talk p4p, but if you are saying there's a strong argument to have her ahead of Jose Aldo, Jon Jones, Chris Weidman, be prepared to list opponents she's beaten and somehow make that be more impressive than the opponents of the champs I mentioned.

Cat is typically a slow starter, and that spells disaster against someone that comes out guns blazing & as talented as Ronda. The longer the fight goes, the more Cat's chances increase in my opinion. I think Ronda eventually submits her, but I am pulling for Cat big time. I would love to see some good come her way after the last year she's had.

If Cat Zingano finished Ronda that would be so fun. Honestly it would probably good for Ronda in the long run.

BLAF would explode, the Rhonda hype would come to a screeching halt, no more Ronda on the P4P lists etc..

One thing I love more than anything about this fight-Ronda highlighted in her countdown segment which is that Cat is super mentally strong, mentally tough. She does not and will not break mentally in the fight. The only way to beat her, is to kill her. Ronda will have to snap a limb or choke her to sleep.
On the flip side, When Ronda is a fight, there's no bitch in her, she's 100% fighter and would go out on her shield.

I think Ronda's mental toughness and heart is matched by Cat, but the difference will be Ronda is far more skilled than Cat.

with Cat's slow starts and Ronda fast starts this could be a problem. I think Ronda comes out super aggressive like usual, tries for the takedown and once there will work for that armbar to a quick finish. I hope I'm wrong but i just see history repeating itself. Girls seem to have trouble defending this armbar that seems telegraphed.

zero votes for Cat. People obviously hate Ronda, but respect her.
I don't hate or like her, to be honest. She's just meh to me...but I respect her, for sure. She's a legit badass.

Cat gets in trouble too much in her fights to give me any confidence she can win. She's had some epic tussles and all, but if Ronda gets a dominant ground position, she won't be giving that up. If Cat can take her deep, maybe Ronda will gas. But Ronda's going to get her on the ground sooner or later. Wish it were otherwise. Cat rocks.

I'll go against the grain here. Of course we all love Cat. I also love Ronda. She is ferocious. But I also think she may be prime for an upset. She has a million things going on right now, maybe she is distracted. Probably not, but when you have walked through everyone like she has, maybe she feels unbeatable. Her coach believes she is better than any woman, man, or animal on the planet in striking. I think Cat has better striking. I could see Ronda trying to prove her worth in the stand up and getting caught. If so, immediate rematch is ordered and Ronda throws her on the ground and tears her arm off.
