Joanna let her ego get waaay out of control, she got caught up in the circus of promoting and trying to be entertainering...
At the end of the day, a fighter should be focusing 100 percent on fighting.
It is the UFC's job to promote fights and pump up fighters.
It's been a long time since I've been so pumped to see a fighter win like that.

Knowing what I know about Poles, this will feed Joanna and allow her to become the malevolent empress of the division once more.
Great points, hopefully more fighters will see the forest for the trees and shy away from emulating McGregor and get the promoters to do their job.

Agree with @Bones Nose. The rematches and trilogies are overdone, but I wouldn't mind a rivalry between Rose and Joanna. And Joanna deserves it considering how long she dominated the division.
I'm not a fan of " deserve" due to long reigns. Of it was even remotely close, went the distance, controversial stoppage or something similar then sure. But of you get dropped twice and finished in the first you need to earn your way back. An immediate rematch for a long standing champion is basically saying the Challenger fluked out and beat the odds so let's try again.
What's wrong with at least one contender fight for JJ while Rose give another top 3 fighter a shot?
They only give rematches if they want the former champion to win it back. That is why Conor has never given anyone a rematch but got a rematch off his loss. It is bs.
Nothing wrong with that either. But what's the threshold for deserving an immediate rematch? Six title wins is significant enough imo.
If it's a clear victory for the Challenger then it shouldn't be considered imo. It's crazy to reward the loser with another title shot when the fight wasn't close. JJ is amazing, just have her prove her worth with a contender fight and see what happens.

I can dig it. I just really want to see a Thug Rose/Joanna Champion rivalry. There aren't many things about WMMA that get me excited, but those two fighting always will.
Conor never lost a belt... he got a rematch in a 170lb fight
I fully agree on loving a healthy rivalry, makes watching so much better.

I'd rather see her go on to 125. I mean besides Rose there is nothing left for her at 115.
JJ terrorized that entire division and wiped out 99.9999% of the competition in it.
We all know JJ was the Queen at 115. Thats as long a reign as most can stomach
without getting bored with it. Need some fresh blood and new matchups at 115
