Man HW is a mess nowadays... Both Ben and Stipe are overdue for title shots, Cain has bested everyone and may only suffer defeat from Werdum, and Overeem is lurking maybe (if he doesn't go to Bellator). I don't think it's fair for Ben to have to fight another fight before a title fight, but in fairness to matchmaking, this is what I'd do....

Werdum vs Stipe for title.

Cain vs Overeem (provided that Overeem doesn't leave)... If Stipe wins, this should be the #1 contender match (if Rothwell loses his fight). Overeem wins, title shot.

Rothwell vs Arlovski 2- if Ben wins, title shot... If Arlovski wins (and Werdum wins/Cain loses) title shot (after Overeem).... Werdum wants an Arlovski rematch, and Arlovski (even though he just lost to Stipe) has been on a roll, and has a short time left.

Very true, but HW is so wide open, in order to stay active before his title shot, he'll have to either fight the eternally injured Cain, two guys coming off KO losses in JDS and Arlovski, or a guy he's already KOed in Overeem... This is why I said that he should fight Arlovski, try to get back that loss he gave him

Yeah but that can happen to people's bodies every now ask again. You can't always be in peak condition. I want to see how his next fight goes. The reem was actually getting to him with his movement and frustrating him. Everyone expects the reem to just stand there so when he doesn't guys are like wtf and then BOOM reem takes them down. Reem has the power to move and hit and have it be over.
