Agree. We've seen Cena.Orton like 40 times. I don't need it again.
You like him, I respect the difference in opinion. But seriously vs Cena is the stupidest thing ever thought of, they have wrestled at every PPV and were part of why the company nose dived
THat's a message from Vince that it will never change under his watch.
Everything Ryback has been saying on podcasts lately is 1000% correct.
i agree. I hate Cena. But remember. Cena could drop the belt to Bray at The Elenination Chamber. Then have Bray/Ortan. I know. I know
I really really hope you are right, but Cena is likely the champ going in because it is mania
I don't mind Cena getting this record breaking run, but him and Orton are not a good feud and never have been
It's funny that Vince turned the crowd's hate for Roman to sell them momentarily for what is actually a far worse outcome, and one they would have reacted negatively to had he not been involved.
My guess is that Taker has told Vince he will go again in 2018 and that's when they will do Taker v Cena. The card is stacked already so they may be saving that ace up their sleeve for when they actually need it. Or maybe I am just trying to make sense of bizarre decisions made by a crazy old fuck.
I'd need to write an essay on how poorly that Rumble was booked. It was pure trash considering what they had to work with.
Even if it isn't Orton vs Cena at Mania.
Why would you waste two good months of buildup for something that is more often than not the ticket to a match against the belt holder?
The Fastlane PPV should serve that buildup not be hot potato moment.
Cancelled my sub!
Will sign up before Wrestlemania 100%
If it ends up with bray getting the belt going into Mania for this, hey great weird byproduct but it's probably a very short run and this is very convoluted if that's the goal.
What were my numbers?
4, 13, 22
So Orton at 23 is one of your random numbers right?
Also on an earlier discussion, they could have anyone they wanted to wrestle for belts since they've proven at Summerslam & and Survivor Series that the belts don't have to be main events anymore.
Aj, Jerich, Owens etc, it wouldn't matter if they are big enough names or not, they'll just put Brock vs Goldberg, Taker vs whoever after them anyways.
Mojo Rawley, Baron Corbin, Apollo Crews... I got fucked.
I mean, Taker vs. Finn/Styles maybe? please?
I respectfully disagree. I said the moment Reigns walked out that I wouldn't be upset just because I didn't see it coming at all and fair play to Vince for that. I also felt most people here were extremely disappointed that Orton won.
Taker can't work anymore, wasting those guys on him is not worth it anymore to me. It's the same half dozen spots over and over now and he looks out of shape.
AJ vs Finn is the match out of those names I want to see. The WWE seems allergic to letting the work try and attract new fans out of the peak amount of eyes they will get at Wrestlemania. You can have both, attractions and legends at WM for big matches AND keep them away from belts. I mean how can it hurt? You've been bleeding fans for over a decade doing it this way, how is maximizing the 5 star match potential at WM going to do worse?
The rumour is now that Goldberg will take the belt from Owens to wrestle Brock for it, which is completely stupid, Goldberg looked like a walrus after sex breathing from the spear last night.
Shane, Taker, etc they should wrestle each other in spot monkeyfests not 5 star talent, Cena also looked his age last night and is not being served well by this obsession to build bulk.
Don't know anything about numbers.
we all had numbers in increments of 9 based on the order we did our picks
you were 5th to post your picks in on the first page of this thread so 5, 14, 23 were your assigned numbers in the "lottery"
Orton was in at 23
@JohnyHendricksBeard isn't this the case?
What do i win.
It might help if i read OP
Yup, and increment was a word that completely escaped me yesterday.
@MoomBah You had Jack Gallagher, Kofi Kingston and Randall Orton
I was, but anything is better than Roman imho. I was hoping Jericho would win out of the final 4, to set up Owens v Jericho at Mania
