There are many memes calling TUF 22 winner Ryan Hall the scariest fighter in the UFC thanks to difficulties faced in finding him a willing dance partner.

On August 29, "The Bully" Ricardo Lamas will take on the challenge:

Hall is a renowned former BJJ champion who first made waves in the UFC during TUF 22. He is now 4-0 in the UFC, having defeated Artem Lobov, Gray Maynard, BJ Penn, and Darren Elkins.

WEC vet and former UFC featherweight title challenger Ricardo Lamas is now 10-6 in the UFC, most recently losing to Calvin Kattar. Notable wins for Lamas include Cub Swanson, Diego Sanchez, and a POTN submission of Charles Oliveira. Like Hall, Lamas has also recently defeated "The Damage" Darren Elkins.

I’m glad they rebooked this. Llamas has balls to get in there with such an awkward, tricky, submission artist like Hall after losing 3 of his last 4. I hope Hall wins then goes ham calling out all the 145ers who refuse to face him.

Looking forward to seeing this, Hall is always exciting to watch do his thing. He got 4 name fighters in his UFC run so far too. Penn and Maynard are shot and Lobov is one of the worst fighters to ever fight under the UFC banner but he got his name out there beating those guys and did it with style, interested in s eeing how far he can go.

I’m worried we will never get the chance to see how far he can go. If he goes out there and heel hooks Lamas, even fewer people with be willing to face him.
I love the idea of specialists finding success at the highest levels. It forces other to adapt and the sport evolves as a result.

My buddy told me about hall when his season of tuf was upcoming. Iirc he was at alliance San Diego. There's a lot of black belts there, my friend was under no illusions he was gonna win, said he's the best guy they have on the mats there by a country mile. I dunno if he's still there but that's first I heard of him.

DIAZ 1,2,5

He was putting a whopping on Condit who did nothing but run and throw baby leg kicks

Also Diaz could have snatched that arm in the 5th but decided not to on account of being ahead on the scorecards in any sane persons mind .

End rant .
