Sage Northcutt says he was invited to train with Nick and Nate Diaz

MMA’s nicest kid apparently has an open invitation to go train with the bad boys of the sport.

Could Sage Northcutt actually train with the Diaz Brothers? They seem like polar opposites but apparently the offer is on the table for him to train with Nick and Nate in the future, as strange as that may seem. In an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Northcutt confirmed it himself:

“They mentioned getting some training together in the future so we’ll see if that happens. They were just super nice guys so it was cool to meet them.”

Northcutt (8-2, 3-2 UFC) is still just 20 years old. The much-hyped prospect hasn’t exactly been out of this world in the Octagon so far, winning just three of his five UFC bouts. To be fair though, both of his losses came in the welterweight…
