Should there be an "MMA Seniors" league? (VID)

The idea of an MMA seniors’ league has been bounced around the sport for years.

Older fighters who have passed the peak of their physical abilities have never had a dedicated home to try to extend their careers, instead bouncing around the country – and even world – picking up fights where they can. That’s a good enough setup for some, but not enough for others, who’d rather see aging fighters looked after and matched appropriately.

MMAjunkie caught up with several fighters ahead of this past weekend’s Bellator 134 card and got their thoughts on the idea of a seniors’ league.

Not sure, could be pretty bad watching old men gass inside 3 minutes. And think of the injuries, good luck with keeping a card together.

I would love to watch some of these pioneers and legends get back in the octagon and recapture some of their glory days Would it be high paced or pretty? Probably not...but these guys deserve to be recognized again, and if this would do that, then I'm all for it.
