I really enjoy going to the zoo. I love seeing animals you could never see here. But, I also hate zoos at the same time. Basically 99% of all enclosures I have ever seen are clearly too small. They are also just bland, empty, desolate looking spaces with nothing to do. Makes me feel bad for the animals. We have one with a polar bear here and its just fucking depressing as all hell, especially in the summer. The water they give him is all fuckin stained all the time and its stains his fur. Its fucked.

Its one of those areas where I would be really interested to understand where the money goes in those places.

They are saving panda's, tigers and elephants around the world, about the same as the ASPCA "saves" animals. It's all about money.
