How can he weild an infinity stone. They make such a big deal out of it in other movies and he doesn't even realize he has one for the most part.
Several have the power to wield a stone. Iirc the power stone was the only one we learned it was a stone in the movie it debuted.
He weilds it by using it as a conduit for magic, using magic techniques. He doesn't just grab it and absorb its power like Starlord.
