Anyone else not give a shit about football or I am just gay.

After the bills broke my heart for 4 years in a row and then all the prima donna players over the last 25 years I could care less. I still make it back for a bills games every 4 years or so but that is more about hanging out with my buddies.

I would still watch the superbowls just for the commercials but now that is ruined because most of them are posted on youtube weeks before.

Then you have the whole Kirpatrick bullshit, BLM bullshit, Covid bullshit. Then this bullshit at the game the other night.

Football is almost as gay as basketball and soccer.

I have never understood the appeal of any of those "sports".

As another local native, I'm a total shill for the Bills. I've never stopped being a fan since I became one in 1980 when I was a kid. As for the rest of the NFL, I don't watch any other games & I only pay attention to other teams in regards to how they affect the Bills.

That was back in 2013, I bet it's worse, now. Some friends of ours have a box at Clemson, we go to games with them about once a year. I usually end up watching TV while I'm there. It's a dry stadium, but alcohol is permitted in the boxes. I wouldn't go if I had to sit out in the elements with the peasants. We also usually end up leaving at halftime or during the 3rd quarter to beat traffic.

Even watching football live is boring as shit.

I grew up watching, then playing and watching football. I absolutely loved it.

One of the best parts of this time of year is that football comes back and I couldn't wait for it.

I stopped watching years ago when college ball became so over-the-top commercialized and the NFL went full retard on social & racial shit.

I will say that I definitely miss it and almost every year, part of me thinks maybe I'll give it a shot again, but I almost never do. I can't bring myself to watch the NFL (even pirating games online) out of pure principle. I might try college ball this year, though.

I did watch about half the Florida State / Georgia Tech game from Ireland a couple weeks ago...it was fun to watch football again. That was my first game in at least a few years and I guess now top college prospects transfer schools dang near every year? I couldn't believe how much a topic of conversation that was. It pretty much never happened when I watched football consistently.

So are guys going to a school and playing all 4 (5 if red shirting) years there just not a thing anymore?
