I got someone who is saying that wearing a bands shirt to their concert is not the same as wearing a football jersey on game day.

When I go a game,I wear a jersey.

When I go to concert,I'll wear a concert shirt

When I go to MMA shows,I'll usually wear a MMA shirt.

Is it not the same shit?

Some consider it taboo / a faux pas to wear a band's shirt to their own concert. I don't know the reason, but growing up in the pop-punk/ska/metalcore scene, I was always told it is weird to do so.
