good, it's about time.

fuck these assholes slaughtering dogs, dogs are same as family.

when I was a kid in Korea, I stumbled upon an alleyway which was the back area of a dog restaurant. They had many dogs hung upside down, mostly dead but saw one getting beat to death with a baseball bat. fuckin traumatized~ never forget that shit

later in life when I was serving in the US military, we were in Korea to do something, few of my buddies wanted to go out of town and try the dog meat. I took em to a dog restaurant. The dish was served like a hotpot, (boiling pot of broth and to put raw dog meat and cook it). I think I went to the bathroom when they brought out the raw meat, my buddies don't speak a lick of Korean thought it was ready to eat, started going to town with it. When I came back to the table, couple were missing, one of em sitting at the table alone looked super pale.

Two guys were thrwing up outside and the one at the table was sick and they all had food poisoning symptoms, some kind of placebo effect.

I didn't want to waste money so I put one meat in the pot and tried it for the first time in my life.

tasted like a gamy chicken, wasn't that bad but wasn't that good either. don't know what the fuss was all about

BTW - Hindus look at us the way we look at South Koreans.

id eat a dog if it was cooked real good
The eat a lot of dog in Burma. Some people really like it but everyone probably eats it at some point because food is pretty scarce in most of the country. They don't eat a lot of meat as a go to anyway. Eating eggs is smarter than eating the chicken for them. Keep the egg factory going.

Likewise there aren't that many dogs to go around. But in the village I was in, there is only one dog that was there for years. If the other ones mess with the chickens, they made into stew pretty quick.

No. But I feel like I'd probably try it if given the opportunity. None of the people we were with like it. But some really develop a taste. Normally I'm not down with dog eating. But if you're a jungle rice farming people eating two meals and day and almost no meat, maybe it makes sense.

Pets...

Are not for cooking...
Korean dogs = not pets. They're actually linked to be like Carolina wild dogs and coyotes. They're usually vicious and very hard to train. But ya keep selling this image like they are like labs or something.

I agree they shouldn't eat them if they are not following the same farming and slaughter regulations as other food animals though but really nobody under 50 even eats that stuff.

If 60% of India shits in the open, it would be wise to be aware of fecal land mines next time I'm in Bangalore.

Like most things, the issue doesn't fit into a nice box.

Neuronggi aren't domestic dogs. You never see them being rehomed after the farms are bought out by rescue groups. I think they are being put down because they can't be adopted because their temperament and unpredictability.
