Russia has developed a system for intercepting Starlink signals
Currently, Kalinka (as the monitoring system is called) is undergoing tests in the SMO zone. This is reported by TASS.
Kalinka can detect and take bearings from satellite communication systems, including Starlink. And, as a result, it can detect unmanned vehicles.
“Unmanned vehiclesoperate through Starlink terminals, like, for example, the so-called Baba Yaga drones. The special Kalinka direction finder allows you to detect an unmanned vehicle at a distance of up to 15 km, catch up with it and hit it with a machine gun,” Andrey Bezrukov, chairman of the board of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies, told the agency.
He also demonstrated an improved version of a jet ski with a turret for a large-caliber machine gun at the organization’s stand. Kalinka is installed on jet skis, boats, and helicopters. The direction finder can also be used to calculate stationary Starlink communication nodes "on the ground" in the area of a special military operation"
