Did you go alone? Sneak in your own food? Give up 3 hours of your time? Going to the matinee with the old people and moms with crying kids is not any fun. Also price is based on what the area you live in can afford so enjoy worrying about your house getting robbed while you are there.

I never buy food at the theater because the is terrible I just bough an ice coffee for 5 so a total of 15 dollars I went to the second showing of the day at like 11:30 am the only theater that charges 17 bucks here is the amc with the dolby digital experience.

At least 10 more for drink and candy unless you sneak your own in.

I usually just pay for an ice coffee. don't eat candy at the theater but I do get what you are saying about the extra costs involved. if I go to the theater on a tuesday it is 6 dollars all day.​
