I was one of this guy's biggest fans when he was alive.
He was very authenticly Australian even though he was playing it up for the camera.
He did the dumbest shit and I loved it.
The only thing I didn't jive with is his attitude with crocodile's.
He came across like they were some kind of endangered species and he was doing the world a favour.
Those fucking things are out of control. There are way more in Australia now then there ever has been. The abos used to keep their numbers in check.
Salt water crocs are dangerous fuckers and they will eat your ass guaranteed. Even if they aren't hungry they will take you , put you in a death roll and stick you under some mangroves and come back when they are hungry. It's not like people swimming with great white shark's. As stupid as I think that is there's people that do it. There's no such thing as swimming with Saltwater crocodiles. They will eat you everytime.
You wouldn't know that by they way he presented that whole situation. He totally distorted people's perception of crocs.
We're not talking about alligators or freshwater crocs here , and they arnt an important part of the ecosystem. You can go up a creek up north and see literally hundreds of red eyes at night time when your shining a torch.
