My son (age 8), has been training MMA for around 4 weeks, he's really enjoying the striking. Wanting to watch fight pass every spare minute and is asking me a lot to hold pads for him. He's not conversant with correct names for each strike yet, so I've started to name combinations after the fighters he watches and some of their signature moves. It's not perfect, but it's stuff he can remember, such as the Hardy is based on Dan Hardy being mainly a boxing style of strike, but the hook comes from the hook he got Ko'd with vs Condit. The rest are pretty self explanatory. I've got ten here. Just need another 4-5 I think, then I'm going to print them out and hang them on the wall in the garage for him to practice.

Any suggestions as to the ones I'm missing?

Great post OP! I have two young kids of my own and this will be much more enjoyable for me to do with them then TKD patterns. Good idea with the names.
