It’s been almost 10 years since the UFC has held an event in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The very first and only event that the UFC has ever held there was back in 2007 for UFC 72, where Rich Franklin faced off against Yushin Okami in the main event.
Now, welterweight standouts Gunnar Nelson and Dong Hyun Kim will clash in the main event of UFC Fight Night 99 for a matchup that will shoot the winner up the welterweight rankings.
