Dana was a total fucking dick at the post fight p.c., it's just unbelievable to me.
Exactly why the grass is a little greener at Bellator.
You've already got the rest of the media/fans judging you, how shamefully unprofessional to throw these guys under the bus.
Of course, he did boxercise, so he can say those kinds of things.

Dana being dana. The styles of this match up were bound to lead to a fight that wasnt going to end in a stoppage. Maia tried to take tyron down and couldnt. Why would tyron take risks when he was controlling the action. Dumb.

Fuk Dana White. When Woodley brought up GSP / Bisping during the pre-presser, assumed that was GSP's next fight and Dana quickly dismissed Woodley by saying, "no, winner of ur fight will be fighting GSP, next" so Woodley goes and wins that fight and Dana immediately books Bisping / GSP and blames Woodley for being boring. What an ass

Why do people want to see Woodley lose so badly? Can any of them really honestly answer? Kinda don't think so.

One backtake, one takedown, Maia's 80% or so to submit him.

Woodley fought perfect. Take into account what he said about his shoulder going out (more than once) during the fight, it's even more of an ideal performance.

If I'm in his corner, I'm happy as fuck with his per-for-MANCE.

Dana is a ridiculous narcissist (like, clinical definition). Take that into account, everything he does makes sense.

Fuck 'im. Fuck all the people in the world who lack the humility to see a thing from someone else's point of view.

So tyron and conor are the only smart ones on the roster? Get the fuck outta here with that shit. Lol
Fighters often wear glasses at post-fight pressers.
Sometimes they're dual-purpose, serving both to hide injury and dim lights.
Sometimes they're even prescription.
I'm playing devil's advocate, because for one, I went through a 2-month migraine and wore sunglasses everywhere, which helps awareness and judgement.
Also, I just don't buy any notable pretentious behaviour on Woodley's part.

This, hes not in a Rap video.., so clearly hes doing it to hide a black eye and possibly sensitivity to all the lights, camera flashes etc.

For one time I agree with Dana, If this was 1 fight woodley ran around the ruing and had a boring outing then Id be all over dana but this has been happening for a year now. I am still not convinced woodley beat wonderboy in the first fight, maybe the second but he hasnt been convincing the public his is a champ.

If you wear sunglasses indoors you have an inherent weakness.........

i fast forwarded through round 4 and 5. woodly's own corner told him after round 2: "He can't take you down, and he can't touch you on the feet, it's time to make him pay." then twood just dances around and stares at him for the next 15 minutes. he could have finished maia if he wanted.

Dana is the greatest promoter of all time. He shit talks his fighters so much and tells you not to use your money on future events, to the point you're willing to spend money on seeing these guys in Bellator.

A perfect fight?

Come on dude. He barely threw any punches at all....was a wrestler of his skill set really THAT worried about take downs that he couldn't even throw punches? He easily defended all the take downs, no reason why he couldn't have out boxed him at the same time.

Except he wore them indoors before the fight too.

Maia was in sunglasses at the presser too. It's actually pretty common after you've been hit in the head a bunch. Tyron does it at all times though so your original point can stand.

What is yr training history?

Not calling you out, not trying to punk you, just genuinely curious, after your post.

Well if you're not calling him out, what is the relevance of your question?
I've wrestled, (learned in Uni and the team let me show up to get my ass beat and I was in a few tourneys and dual meets)
Bjj (sandbagged at purple for about 3 years and then had life problems and back problems)
Did some boxing and tkd as a kid.
....and agree wit SCADA @SCADA insofar as Woodley was overly concerned about shutting down Maia's game while really implementing none of his own. This is one of the few times I've agreed with Dana White but he said it perfectly to the effect that if you are a professional fighter and people don't want to see you fight then that says it all.
